Instructions for Tourists

In order to maintain a clean, nice, civilized and harmonious recreational environment in the Nanjing Eye Tourist Area in Hexi,Nanjing, and to protect the safety and rights of citizens, these regulations are formulated in accordance with relevant laws.

Maintain order, be civilized and polite. Consciously abide by social ethics and relevant regulations, obey the instructions by the working staff and assist them in carrying out their duties.

Consciously obey orders when queuing up to visit.

Please keep in mind the importance of environmental protection; take care of trees and flowers in the area and keep off the grass. Do not pick flowers and fruits, or climb trees. Do not dig flowers out of the earth. Do not hang ropes or other objects on trees.

Take care of public facilities. Do not scribble, mark or nail on ancient or ordinary buildings, structures, facilities, and trees. Do not lie down on a bench.

Please keep the area clean. No spitting, urinating or littering of peels, cores, cigarette butts, chewing gum or other wastes are allowed. It is prohibited to pick up rubbish or beg in the area.

For the safety of visitors, motor and non-motor vehicles are not allowed to enter the area. No dangerous goods and open fire are allowed in the park.

It is prohibited to carry out illegal business operations, stall trading, superstitious activities, vulgar and unhealthy behaviors in the area.

It is strictly prohibited to distribute, post, or hang any form of advertisements and publicity materials in the area. It is not allowed to charge for teaching dancing or Kung Fu in the area. It is strictly prohibited to conduct gambling and other illegal activities in any form.

No pet dogs are allowed in the area. Parents with children should see to it that public defecation or urination are not allowed and offenders will be fined.

It is forbidden to jump over the rail along the river. Swimming and fishing by the river are not allowed, and the fishing equipment of offenders will be confiscated in accordance with relevant regulations.

No motor vehicles or non-motor vehicles are allowed to run, and no roller skates are allowed to be worn on the bridge (see the regulations of Nanjing Eye Footbridge for details).

Flying drones without license in the area is prohibited.

It is everyone’s responsibility to maintain the order in the area. Anyone who violates the above regulations will be fined or relevant items will be confiscated in accordance with relevant regulations, and those who cause losses shall be liable for compensation in accordance with the law.
