He Garden
The embellishment of history, the inheritance of culture. An Huizhou-style building with blue bricks, small tiles and horse-head walls merges with this modern city full of youthful atmosphere and high-rise buildings. The mansion used to be the "residence of Prime Minister He (He Ruchong)", a scholar in Emperor Chongzhen’s reign in the Ming Dynasty. With a history of more than 300 years, it is of antique flavour. The memorial archways, horse-head walls, cornices, exquisitely carved window panes, and the five houses inside, are completely original old houses in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
