Memories of the Yangtze River

The Yangtze River Memory covers an area of approximately 2000 square meters, with 43 transparent LED shaped memory columns marking the water level of the Yangtze River in Nanjing over the years. Here, tourists can feel the changes in the water level of the Yangtze River over the past century. The red weather resistant steel on the lower half of the lamp bead represents the highest water level of a flood in a certain year. It can be seen that the highest water level in the "memory" of the Yangtze River occurred in 1954, at 10.22 meters, while the warning line was 8.5 meters. The project was constructed in 2014, and the current highest water level is 10.31 meters in 2020.
